This article talks about how Apple tried to keep the iPhone a secret until its release 2 years after development began, also talks about Apples partnership with major American phone company "Cingular"

This extract from the article is important because it explains the idea behind the "revolutionary" touch screen which is a new feature on a phone, however this phone looks similar to most PDAs that are available in its touch screen capabilitys.

Shows that Applpe are focuses more on the MP3 player and touch screen features of the phone, whereaas most mobile phones today focus on the quality of the camera. The highest mega pixel camera available is 3.2 megapixels, by only have a 2 megapixel camera its main selling point is of course its MP3 player. Has up to 8GB of storage space.
